Coconut Almond Milk – Homemade!
This yummy nut milk is all the rage at the moment, however, if you take the time to look at the ingredients in the supermarket versions, you will find lots of nasties. It’s so easy to make at home and will last a good week in the fridge.
Soak 1 cup raw organic almonds for 4 hours then drain
Blend with 1/2 cup coconut flakes and 3 cups filtered water
Strain through a nut bag
Pour into bottle to use anytime
(tip – add 4 medjool dates and 1 tsp vanilla extract for more flavour)
Coconut Almond Milk is divine in a chai or latte
